Frequently Asked Questions
It is recommended not to wear patterns on the day of the shoot, to avoid clashing with others in the portrait and simply as it can draw attention away from the subject themselves. Logos should also be avoided as they can age your photos dramatically within just a few years. If being photographed in a group, avoid wearing strong colours (such as red or white ) as this causes colour casts onto your skin and can lead to certain members of the group to stand out more than the rest of you. Neutral tones that coordinate work well together but avoid matching outfits.
Once you have booked a session, you will be required to pay a booking fee for a portrait session. The remaining sum will be due on the day of the shoot. Images will not be edited and posted until full payment has been received from the client.
Please book your session at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.
I am very family orientated and understand that illness and emergencies cannot be avoided. In these instances, a mutually agreeable alternative date would be arranged with no additional charge. However, I would still ask that you give as much notice as possible as the notice period of 7 days would usually apply under all other circumstances.
After the photo-shoot, all viable raw images will be uploaded onto a password protected gallery for you to view and choose which images you would like edited. Once you have made your choices, fully edited versions will be uploaded onto a downloadable gallery within a two/three week period. Your images can then be shared and printed as and when you please. I also provide a professional printing service if you would like professional lab quality.
I am fully ensured with full public liability insurance and have full DBS clearance.
